Chanukah lamp. Warsaw - Poland, 19th century. B. Buch; Galw. W.M.F. Warszawa.
Brass and copper.
Embossed ornaments glued and screwed onto panel; vegetation ornaments, Torah crown, seven-branched Menorah and on both sides lions grasping onto palm tress. Sides of Menorah contain (removable) oil vessel for Shamash and pitcher. Height: 23-27 cm. Width: 21-23 cm. Good condition.

Chanukah lamp. [Poland?].
Silver (manufacturers stamp CH 10264), hammered.
Decorated with floral patterns and geometric shapes. At center of back-panel, two lions holding the Tablets of Law with the letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, at top architectural cornice gate peaked with a Torah crown. Flanked by hanging jugs and fonts for shamash (removable). Detachable row of oil-fonts, with matching lids (three missing).
Maximum height: 24 cm. Maximum width: 27.5 cm.

Chanukah lamp. Italy, 18th century.
Cast brass and brass tin.
Frame of architectural gate with pitcher at tip. At center of panel engraving of hand pouring oil into a seven-branched Menorah with two trees on sides (stamp of engraver: Djf).
Style typical of Italy. (See: Narcissus, Chanukah Menorah, photograph plate, no. 134).
Height: 29-32 cm. Width: 20-22 cm. Good condition.

Floral decorations and figures of babies-angels blowing shofars, with Hebrew inscription: "Yehudit".

Chanukah Lamp

Chanukah lamp. Morocco.
Cast brass, engraved tin brass.
The Chanukah lamp base is made of cast brass, four four-sided oil-fonts, pinched with place for placing eight wicks. An ornament shaped like a rooster is screwed to each edge of the base. The back panel is made of tin brass bent into the shape of a triangle with engraved ornamentation: a Star of David, floral and geometric patterns. At top of back panel - the shamash.
Height: 10.5 cm, width: 14 cm.

Chanukah lamp. [Tֳ©touan?].
Cast brass; hammered tin.
Chanukah lamp base made of cast brass. The back panel is made of sawn tin (its edges are bent back) with hammered ornamentation. Shamash of cast brass as well and located at center of back panel. A tin channel is connected under the shamash. Height: 19 cm, maximum width: 18 cm.

Moroccan Chanukah Lamp – Star of David

Chanukah lamp. Morocco.
Tin copper; lead.
Base of Chanukah lamp partially cast and covered with tin copper. The back and side panels are made of lead-covered tin copper. Engraved at center of back panel is a large Star of David with another deeper ornament in its center (unidentified). The shamash stands at the top of the Star of David.
Height: 14.5 cm, width: 20 cm.

Chanukah Lamp – Chamsot

Oriental design Chanukah lamp.
Tin brass, engraved and sawn; colored glass plates.
Back panel adorned with star engravings, red colored glass is set in the center and at the top are two hand palms (chamsot). At the top of each of the panels is a palm of a hand (chamsa); the side panels are set with blue colored glass. The base of the Chanukah lamp is connected to a stand with pinched oil-fonts.
Height: 29.5 cm, width: 27 cm. One of the oil-fonts is detached. The row of oil-fonts is slightly bent.

Typical Moroccan style, with barred panel of flower patterns, curved windows and birds (the largest is a replica of a model from the 17th century. See: Narcissus, Chanukah Menorah, illustration plate, no. 70).
Various sizes and conditions. All three missing Shamash.

Pair of Chanukah Lamps, Amateur Work

1. Chanukah lamp made of silver covered tin brass. Center of back panel incised in lattice pattern, edges in wavy incision. At center of back panel, link for shamash (missing). At top, stamp "Silver Plated" and a loop for hanging on wall. Apparently, handmade and not mass produced. Height: 14.5 cm, width: 15.5 cm. Good condition.
2. Silver Chanukah lamp (stamped: 800). Long rectangular base divided into eight rectangular oil-cups. A link for the shamash (missing) is connected to back panel. The back panel is arch-shaped, decorated with geometric patterns. Apparently, handmade, with secondary use of another silver utensil (perhaps a napkin holder). Height: 5 cm, width: 11.5 cm. Good condition.

Pair of Rimonim [Torah finials] for Torah Scroll. Algeria or Morocco, 19th century.
Silver (stamped), filigree, partially gold-plated.
Large impressive Rimonim. Decorated with three rows of silver strips and two rows of hanging bells. At tip, crown-like ornament. Engraved inscription on both posts: "Nissim Tamtzut". Contains only 13 bells (originally 24), some large and some small.
Height: 39-39.5 cm. Diameter: 11 cm. Good condition. Some hooks broken and incomplete.

Pair of Rimonim [Torah finials] for Torah Scroll. Turkey, 20th century.
Silver (unstamped), hammered and engraved.
Inscription engraved upon posts: "Donation of Flor Pizanti" / "For the elevation of the soul of her husband Ben-Zion David Pizanti son of Rachel". Each Rimon has six silver bells hanging from it.

Pair of small Rimonim [Torah finials] for Torah Scroll. Greece or Rhodes, early 20th century.
Silver (unstamped), engraved with vegetation patterns. Six chains hanging from each Rimon with closed bells hanging from them.
Engraved inscription on posts: "Dedicated to the Almighty, these Rimonim were dedicated by Yosef Yisrael in the year 1935"; "these Rimonim were dedicated by Soltana wife of Yosef Yisrael in the year 1935" [The Yisrael family was a well-known rabbinic family in Rhodes and other places].
Height: 18 cm. Diameter: 4.5 cm. Two Rimonim not original, missing two chains with bells, several bells broken.

Silver (stamped on base), hammered and engraved.
Height: 31 cm, diameter: 12 cm.
One contains welding marks at center, three missing bells, one of the hooks is broken; second bent and tilts to side, missing three Rimonim and one hook is broken. Not all bells match.
